Il s'agit de d\u00e9chets radioactifs trait\u00e9s et conditionn\u00e9s qui contiennent une faible quantit\u00e9 de mati\u00e8res radioactives, dont seulement une quantit\u00e9 tr\u00e8s limit\u00e9e de mati\u00e8res \u00e0 vie longue. En raison de ces propri\u00e9t\u00e9s, les d\u00e9chets de cat\u00e9gorie A sont \u00e9ligibles au stockage en surface dans des bunkers hors sol. Au pr\u00e9alable, les d\u00e9chets sont encapsul\u00e9s dans des caisses en b\u00e9ton, appel\u00e9es caissons. Pour la production de ces caissons, NIRAS fait construire une usine sp\u00e9cifique sur site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De bouw van de caissonfabriek werd toevertrouwd aan de TM Vanhout-Stadsbader. Op hun beurt deed TM Vanhout-Stadsbadereen beroep op Deschacht om een duurzame oplossing te bieden voor voor de opvang en de recuperatie van regenwater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tubao, r\u00e9servoirs PEHD sur conseil de Deschacht<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Oppervlakteberging is een langetermijnoplossing die het afval op passieve wijze insluit en afzondert van mens en milieu. Uiteraard wordt bij de bouw van de caissonfabriek nog meer dan elders specifieke aandacht gegeven aan de kwaliteit van het eindproduct \u2013 i.e. de caissons \u2013 en dus ook van de installatie waarin deze vervaardigd zullen worden. Voor de recuperatie van regenwater deed TM Vanhout-Stadsbader een beroep op Deschacht.\n\n\u201cHet hoeft geen betoog dat het een bijzondere opdracht betreft\u201d, aldus projectleider Dennis van Put. \u201cWe werken al geruime tijd met Deschacht voor grond- en rioleringswerken. Zij tekenen de plannen uit, denken mee en het contact is aangenaam en vertrouwd.\u201d\n\nVoor de recuperatie van regenwater van deze niet alledaagse werf stelde Deschacht Tubao tanks uit HDPE voor. \u201cInitieel waren er betonnen tanks voorzien maar gezien de onvoorspelbaarheid van het moment van plaatsing moest het een prefab-oplossing zijn\u201d, gaat Dennis van Put verder. \u201cDe werken kunnen nu snel en effici\u00ebnt gebeuren \u00e9n bovenal moet de werf niet lang \u201copen\u201d liggen om de tanks te plaatsen. Men zou wel haast denken dat het een eenvoudige opdracht is, maar niets is minder waar.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un produit et une solution durables<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het materiaal waaruit de TUBAO tanks worden vervaardigd, HDPE, werd mede gekozen dankzij zijn duurzaamheid. De tanks worden op maat vervaardigd waardoor het eens op de werf een plug and play oplossing is. Door het lichte gewicht wordt de installatietijd aanzienlijk gereduceerd en zijn er minder transporten en werfmachines nodig. Bovendien, \u00e9n niet onbelangrijk voor deze toepassing, zijn deze buizen dubbelwandig waardoor de resistentie tegen externe invloeden aanzienlijk hoger ligt dan bij metalen of betonnen tanks.\n\nTevens biedt het hier d\u00e9 oplossing voor de recuperatie van regenwater voor de toekomstige betoncentrale.
