Drainix\u00ae is een ter plaatse gegoten gewapende betonnen grastegel en is de perfecte mix van een klassieke kunststof (lichtgewicht) en betonnen (sterkte) grastegel. Drainix\u00ae is o.a. vanwege de ge\u00efntegreerde wapening een perfecte oplossing voor openbare ruimten, parkings e.d. waar zware belasting onvermijdelijk is.\n\nDrainix\u00ae werd recent geplaatst in een pilootproject \u2013 ontwikkeld door de Stad Damme en het Studiebureau Lobelle \u2013 voor de opbouw van een natuurinclusief parkeerterrein met aandacht voor biodiversiteit en de bijenpopulatie.\n\nDe Stad Damme wil zich profileren als een onthaaste stad. Dat is een stad met aandacht voor de menselijke schaal, duurzaamheid en een kwaliteitsvolle omgeving. Bijensoorten allerhande leveren een belangrijke bijdrage om dit doel te bereiken. Daarom startte de stad al in 2015 met een campagne ter sensibilisatie van de bijenpopulatie met een Damse bijentuin als resultaat. Vandaag gaat de stad nog een stap verder met de aanleg van bijnestvriendelijke parkeerplaatsen.\n\nDe parking is opgebouwd uit stroken fundering met Drainix, afgewisseld met rijen gevuld met zand. De Drainix wapening verbindt de stroken aan elkaar en geeft de parking de nodige stabiliteit en sterkte voor zwaar verkeer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chaleureux pour les affaires<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De opvulling met zand geeft de bijenpopulatie de mogelijkheid om de nesten in de bodem in te graven. Afhankelijk van de soort ligt dit nest op 5 tot 60 cm diepte. Bij een volledig gefundamenteerde parking bestaat deze mogelijkheid niet.
